fantastic central spot for discovering parks and major sights

I really liked this hotel! The metro station Gare de Lyon is just a few steps away, making it super easy to get around the city, and I was also delighted to find that the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens were less than a 25-minute walk away, perfect for a relaxing stroll in Paris.

The front desk staff were exceptional, always polite and ready to assist. Although the location was conveniently close to the transport hub, the hotel itself felt outdated. the carpets need replacement and overall decor updates are overdue. My room was quite dark due to inadequate lighting, and there was no internal lock, which felt unsettling. The bathroom was modern and clean, but showering resulted in a wet floor.

Had a nice time here during a last-minute trip! The clean room was cozy with a comfy bed, and I loved the kettle with tea and coffee in my room. Just a heads up, the walls are a bit thin, so I heard some noise from the street and other guests, but it wasn't a big deal for me. 😊

It was just a great match for a walk in the evening in Paris with best value for money ratio. The reception staff were friendly, which made check-in nice and easy. Be aware that the walls are thin, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.
